Market Lavington or East Lavington (Formally called Lavington Forum or Staple Lavington) is a parish and small town situated in a valley, at the base of the chalk hill which forms the northern boundary of Salisbury plan, and is about 6 miles south from Devizes, 20 miles north-west of Salisbury and 100 miles from London.
